Show Episode Script

Hey guys,

We kind of want to make something clear with you all and that is this, we USE Youtube to broadcast out into the world but we are not a YOUTUBE content provider, and what that means is we do NOT craft our content to get views or likes –

Only during one brief period of time years ago someone told me to repeatedly say, “Hit the subscribe button,” or “give us a like.”

Our content will not hold the attention of most people, and it certainly is not something that the masses seek.

But we are on YOUTUBE because it’s a way to reach seekers of God in spirit and truth and since leaving television this is our way of letting you know were are here.

Speaking of people seeking God in Spirit and truth, that is how we couch our definition of the term, “seekers.”

We are not too interested in seekers around flat earth, who killed Kennedy or other conspiracy theories – we care and focus on faith in God and we try and promote ways we have discovered that are better vetted than just passing historical traditions down.

Admittedly – and this is going to be hard to hear for some and the subject of great mockery by others – but admittedly, we exist to help move the sacred faith up and away from where it has been in the past – in fact, we are going to explain our justification for this tonight – making this a truly landmark program for us.

But first, a few short reminders –

Come November 8 and 9th we will be hosting our first annual Christian Peace Initiative and have a line up of people who are devoted to Christ to speak.

What is the Christian Peace Initiative?

It’s funny, but because you have heard me ramble on aggressively against religious institutions and their abusive leaders I’ve recently learn that the title, Christian Peace Initiative sounds contradictory.

But try and understand, the Christian Peace Initiative is for individual believers in the work of Christ to choose to accept all other people of all other Christian denominations with agape love.

Because we see the faith as entirely of the Spirit and therefore Subjectively lived and not objectively demanded, we believe that this approach is in harmony with the intentions of the CPI and find no contradiction in also exposing all institutional depravities and abuse.

Nuance is hard for some people so we don’t expect perfect clarity in the minds of everyone but try and understand our approach – unconditional love for all people irrespective of their personal beliefs or religious observations while continuing a fair but relentless attack on institutional religious abuse and manipulation.

In other news, our weekly live call-in shows every Thursday are turning out to be a really enjoyable experience as we have unintentionally joined with a small online community!

You can expect to hear live calls (if we have any) music, comments read and items openly addressed that we don’t have time to address here.

Delany and I host the thing, and it is literally like a radio show depicted on the television sitcom, Kramer. Really fun. And the more the merrier so tune in every Thursday beginning at 11AM MTN and ending around 1PM depending on the calls.

That said, we want you listeners, whether you call in and are vocal or participative or not to know of our love for you. We are so blessed to watch as seekers actually discover more and more of the glorious beauty in YAHAVAH and His only Human Son and in the finished work they did for the world.

Okay, before we go to the message, which in my mind brings everything we have worked on for decades to understand and discover here, this evening, October 1st 2024, I want to welcome someone you actually see every week here on Heart of the Matter Full Circle – the Halleleuia child who from some unknown place decided to scream-sing into a home video nearly 30 years ago

You have sumpting,

THE PROBLEM

And that is the one, the only Cassidy McCraney Bubitz, my middle daughter, formerly Toad, editor and even fill-in host of this very show!

Okay – ready? Here we go.

Last week we presented biblical proof that the Spirit of God in the Old Testament, by and through the incarnation of Yeshua and His victory over flesh, the Law, sin, death, Satan, hell and all material religion, introduced to the world forevermore to another updated, even changed, Spirit of Christ.

We noted that this was a change in God Himself and I remind you that it is biblically supported.

The standard fare for most Christians today stands on an idea that “God never changes” and to this, we completely agree relative to His traits, His Holiness, His goodness and His love – He is always the same.

This is supported by James 1:17 which says,

GRAPHIC
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

But we modify the notion of Him never changing in anyway, lie the American Taliban tries to suggest, by the scriptural proofs that actually show He constantly changes in one very specific way – and that is in His love, and therefore outreach, to humans whom He made in His image and gave us freewill.

See, if human beings have an ability to make choices for good or evil, light or dark, love verses self, then God, who made us in His image, must also have the capacity, desire and willingness to change His mind relative to what He might say or do in the past.

This is supported all throughout His working with the Nation of Israel in the face of their choices and it is specifically underscored in the story of
Ahab, the wicked King of Israel, who, according to 1st Kings 21:25 “sold himself to do what was evil in the sight of the Lord.”

GRAPHIC
When Elijah came to call Ahab out, he told him that YAHAVAH was going to “utterly burn him up” and “cut off every male from his lineage.” (1st King 21:21).

But listen – when Ahab heard these words he changed in his heart, tore his clothes, dressed himself in sackcloth and then fasted.

What did YAHAVAH say? He said to Elijah,

GRAPHIC
“Have you seen how Ahab has humbled himself before me?” (1st Kings 21:29).

And then God changed His plan for Ahab which was based on Ahab changing his mind.

He does this with Jonah and the people of Ninevah and again, he does this numerous times with Moses and Aaron and the Nation of Israel relative to saying He was going to destroy them but doesn’t because of some human intervention.

God changes – in the way He lovingly responds to people who choose to change before Him.

This not only destroys God being utterly unchangeable but it also speaks to the free will of Man.

Interestingly, we actually see God change when He became incarnate – God with us, right, as scripture itself, speaking of His Human body writes,

GRAPHIC

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Jesus was made? Have you ever heard people say, “Jesus was uncreated! He had not beginning!” That is not what the scripture says right here in Hebrews 2:9.

But the writer of Hebrews is speaking of Jesus, the man born of a woman, and NOT what has always existed as God, which was in that man.

And why did God make Yeshua? Out of love for us and the conditions we humans were in because of Adam, as scripture says,

GRAPHIC

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

And then what do we read about this Yeshua of Nazareth, this God with us?
That’s right, we read that He also changed, as in

GRAPHIC

Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered.

He learned? Yes! And that learning contributed to the Spirit of Christ which would change the Holy Spirit of the Old Testament.

We also read that He was

GRAPHIC

Hebrews 4:15 “in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

Can God be tempted? According to James no, as he says,

GRAPHIC
James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

We are beginning to see how in the incarnation of God with us, all sorts of changes were introduced to the wisdom and knowledge of God, aren’t we?

Think about these additional material changes that God instituted.

First, He plants a garden for Man, then He kicks Man out, then He promised a Messiah very early in the game to come and save man, then through Moses He gives the Law, then He overcomes and abrogates the law, and pays for sin, wiping it away forever, then he tosses Satan who reigned into a Lake of Fire, then Man is reconciled to God, and has free open access to Him without intermediation once He nailed everything from that former economy to His cross, then He dies (God can’t die, can He) then he was buried, then He changed again and rose, then He ascended, then reigned, then returned and launching the ongoing spiritual resurrection and then he ultimately closed that period or age up forevermore.

We can illustrate all of this by and through the contents of the Biblical Record, its histories, prophecies and Revelation and we can also support it all occurring through secular histories.

Appealing to the same biblical text we are also fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of what YAHAVAH would do once all of the aforementioned was complete, which includes the end of Spiritual Death for humankind as Paul writes, speaking of the Resurrection,

GRAPHIC

“But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” 1st Corinthians 15:23-26

We also read of an increasing government and peace without end, in Isaiah 9:7, where it says

GRAPHIC
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

We also read about God ending all shakable things which He replaces with unshakable spiritual things, as the writer of Hebrews said,

GRAPHIC

Hebrews 12:26-27 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

We read how YAHAVAH would relate to all people in our (this) day in Jeremiah 31:31-34 where he wrote,

GRAPHIC
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

We read about sheol or hell giving up its dead and those under the law of that day being judged, as John wrote in Revelation, saying

GRAPHIC

Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

We read of a change in Jerusalem itself, being changed as Paul describes in Galatians, saying,

GRAPHIC

Galatians 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

That’s a change!

We read of a new spiritual heaven and a new spiritual earth established forevermore as John says in

GRAPHIC

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

We read of a new destination for believers too, instead of sheol, also described by John in Revelation when he wrote

GRAPHIC

Revelation 21:10-14 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

And jumping to verse 18 John concludes his description with

GRAPHIC

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

And we also read in the last verse those who would not enter into the New Jerusalem above, saying,

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

So one thing we can plainly say in the face of all of this is YAHAVAH, in all He has done, changes – Himself via His decisions, in His Spirit, in what he establishes – and it is constant.

WHY?

Because we, being made in His image and having freewill, also change, and He, being love and like a good parent, is constantly adapting, allowing, and altering His approach to reach, teach and grow us as a means to better understand Him (LISTEN) with each passing age, and with every change in the reset world he saved.

This brings us tonight, October 1st 2024, to a place we could have never anticipated in our search for truth, a place we never intended nor saw on the horizon until most recently, and it is The Landing Pad we offer all seeking souls, formerly LDS and not, as we believe it best represents where He is in this present world.

If you want to cling to the past you can. If you want to cling to the Law – have at it. Want to cling to the things of the Church/Bride, you are free. But if you want to take everything He is doing now, and walk in His evolved exegesis of scripture, listen on.

But before we do so we want to describe another change we see in scripture which is vitally important as a model and that is the changes that come by and through spiritual maturity.

The idea of Spiritual maturation can be seen all through the scripture itself as there are repeated examples where information or prophecy are given but those who received it could not comprehend the meaning.

Sometimes entire generations would pass before anyone really understood how to interpret some of the things that YAHAVAH had said.

This process of spiritual maturation is seen in the macro-spiritual sensitivities of entire people groups and cultures but present themselves all the way down to individuals even today.

What we mean by this is that as civilizations, cultures and individuals are exposed to evolved or revealed spiritual truths via evolved exegesis, we suggest that God Himself, working through what can only be called the “welt Geist (world spirit) off freewill humanity,” He, again out of love, continues to bring Himself forward through increasingly advanced stages of spiritual understanding.

In the case of the human race, we are not convinced that this will ever end but are certain that by and through His doing this He is bettering the world and existence of Man.

For example, we believe that the general idea centered on afterlife hell, apostolic authority, brick and mortar religion, and a codified God called the Trinity, served the worlds inhabitants specific to that time, age and mindset.

In other words, when the faith was new and burgeoning, we suggest that the exegesis of scripture was in spiritual harmony with the needs and levels of understanding present in humanity at that time.

We maintain that as Christ’s victory continues to invade the hearts and minds of humankind, it occurs, in large part, via what we call, “an evolution of exegesis” which occurs both on a collective scale and more and more on the individual.

This is more evidence of the victorious YAHAVAH, who, in and through the finished work of His Son, is dispelling more and more darkness from the world and bringing more and more people throughout the ages into greater and greater comprehension of spiritual truths.

We therefore see all contributors to the faith, according to the time and age when their contributions and insights were given, as serving to help bring the world to greater overall insights into the mysteries of God that were not before understood or possibly even considered.

Again, we are calling this “Exegetical Evolution” which is where the Spirit, operating by and through the Victory of Christ, and in harmony with the age of human understanding and comprehension, continually unfolds and reveals deeper and deeper insights into the interpretation of the written text not ubiquitously acceptable before.

Quite frankly, we actually see this very thing occurring in every field of the human experience. I mean, have you ever wondered why a Band like the Beatles or Tool or Cat Stevens didn’t pop up on the music scene of 1250 AD?

Or why it took numerous breakthroughs in medicine, dentistry, the arts and science to bring them to the level that they are today?

Every ask, “how come cave paintings never look like the Mona Lisa?”

We maintain that, again, because of how God made us and the world in which we live, humanity stands on the shoulders of what has been done before and culturally evolves along the way – especially when the changes are beneficial or an advancement to Man.

We see punctuations of this in certain individuals ahead of their time, like Tesla, Ford, Einstein, and Musk.

Because we believe in a God who loves Man and wants to improve and mature us all in the ways of Him, we see His hand on such as continued gifts to our physical and our spiritual well-being.

But these things take time because unfortunately, religiously inclined sorts tend to believe that an unchanging God would never change what He has established in the past and because that is NOT how they want to believe how He works, resistance is great. So progress is super slooooooow.

Most religionists stuck on tradition believe God to be like a stickler parent who the moment a baby is born insists the child conform to all of their ideas on life, living and insists from cradle to grave that they conform.

Most of these parents, if their child does not, will cast them out. But loving parents learn very quickly that they must do the adapting if they want to help their child discover who and how God made them to be – which can often be very different from what the parents themselves once lived and believed.

Imagine for a moment that in 650 AD a housewife somehow gets access to a Bible, that she is able to even read it, and that she realizes all the facets of biblical fulfillment or what we are teaching today.

What would she do with that information and understanding? Not much. In the first place, she is a woman – in 650 AD, no less! And she is a housewife, no less! Then she has the church breathing down her neck, and then the means of sharing her views with the rest of the world were severely limited if not stopped entirely, right?

Again, what was in place and accepted then was right for that age and time and it would be many years before her discovery could be ever be heard or received.

So, it is with religion. But in the age of technology, God overwhelms the power of the pulpit and allows seekers to discover so much stuff that was obfuscated and hid in the past.

More and more we live in an age where even out youngsters cannot comprehend an all-knowing God who makes us knowing full well that we are going to fail and that he will then send us to hell.

Its an absurdity to basic reason and does NOT fit the age wherein we dwell. So while principles of sowing and reaping may remain the same the evolved exegisis creates much better solutions.

I’ve long called Calvinists dinosaurs for the simple reason their views are on the way to reaching a point where they will be universally seen as so ludicrous in the collective mind of Christ-filled and the watching world that they will ultimately only thrive in the most twisted recesses of the collective human conscious.

God wants His name, and ways, and victorious work to do the opposite folks.
He wants to grow and shine and reveal Himself through the finished work of His Son as the human race encounters more and more advances.

Society has reached a collective point where organized religion and all of its former abuses, illogical teachings, and empty demands have become, in great measure, untenable.

Deconstruction will not work nor will renaming things. He works through real change and He works in harmony with the spirit of every age.

Shifts will always take place as certain as the people of Salem no longer drown witches.

It is when the laughter for poor exegesis becomes so loud, which we maintain is headed our way, God seems to allow, as a means to mature those who seek Him, “an evolution in scriptural exegesis” – which in the right time and place will rise up and replace what was formerly and ubiquitously received and believed.

This happens . . .

GRAPHIC

Because God loves the world, and having made us in His image, knows that we are going to change, and He has built-in a way for His Great Love, News and inscribed words to last with each generation.
It happens because His Son overcame everything caused by the Fall of the First Adam, putting the world’s inhabitants back in the spiritual garden where all souls are now free to choose how to live, how to believe, and how to more and more assume responsibility for their respective choices.
It happens because it is how everything happens, has happened and will continue to happen – it’s just slower in religion because religiously inclined people cling to their prejudices and views as if God Himself will punish them if they don’t. With leaders reinforcing these fears, it takes time.

We ardently maintain that today a shift has occurred in the mind and hearts of humankind and we are, in fact, entering another period of evolutionary exegesis.

We maintain that this evolutionary exegesis of scripture, is in the hands of the Spirit of Christ, will help us replace the archaic traditions of religious men who instead of feeding the sheep have fleeced them, and instead of bringing them liberty take them captive.

We maintain that this shift does not require church, religion, set doctrines and dogmas upon what has been established in the past but that they move by the fruit of the Spirit and are seen in all souls that possess it irrespective of tradition or training.

We suggest that those who wish to seek God in spirit and truth, living by faith and love, are enabled and lead by the Spirit of Christ toward more Light, more Learning, more Love and more Liberty.

Similar to Nietzsche, who proclaimed that God is dead, we proclaim that church is dead – or it is at least dying – and that its games on the human psyche, freedoms, and joys have been victorious and progressively overcome by the Spirit of Christ starting back nearly 2000 years ago and evolving up to this very day.

And in the face of all this, we also announce something that is in direct opposition to the mindset of most religiously inclined souls today and that is, humanity, and the world around us, is not in decline, but that we, under the care of Christ, are instead, getting better both individually and collectively.

This too is the fruit of a victorious loving God.

Are we perfect? Hardly. God works slowly with His freewill creations. But in comparison to the world before Christ, His victory is actually bringing more light, learning, love and liberty into the world and lives of His creations – not less.

I know the knee-jerk reaction to this but also recognize that this reaction is coming from minds darkened by errant interpretation and application of ancient scripture in a day long since passed leaving men and women hating the life and world in which they live and champing at the bit to see it end.

Before we open up the phones 220-222-hotm, let we wrap this all up with a simply white-board illustration to aid in understanding. Ready?

CONCLUSION

Next week, our brother Grady from Sonora Mexico is going to join us here on Zoom and we are going to talk about how and why the world in which we live has gotten better and that a shift in perspective for believers will go a long way in helping this sacred faith survive.
We will see you next week, here on Heart of the Matter Full Circle.
