Relations To The Victorious Christ

As an exercise of “possibilities,” consider the following as representations of devotion to the Victorious Christ.

  1. The direct, unencumbered relationship with Christ. No religion. No authority. Truly the leading of the Holy Spirit. Those who follow Him and no other. Those who die to self, die to flesh, live by faith and love. They are in the radiance of Him. They might be described as
  • True believers in word and deed
  • Salt of the earth, humble
  • Not of this world
  • Joint-heirs with Christ
  • Die to their flesh daily
  • Love, love, love, love with selfless, sacrificial insufferable love
  1. Those who have accepted certain false traditions. Those who have believed themselves above the rest, who have split the body, have ostracized in Jesus name, and have demanded creedal conformities of others. The religiously pious, arrogant, including
  • Denominationalists without a sold-out heart to Him
  • Those who have feared and trusted man more than God
  • Those who have failed to suffer in seeking the truth
  • Those who have done with their hands but not their hearts
  1. Those who followed God without receiving or accepting Christ. Those who rejected Christ but sought to live by the Spirit of God in faith and loving others. They will “see” Christ someday.
  2. Those whose faith was measured in works for justification and not on Him who gave His life. consummate religionists.
  • Those who judge
  • Those who did not forgive
  • Those who trusted in their own righteousness to justify them before God
  • Those who used Jesus blood once they showed themselves worthy to access it.
  1. Reject, hate, disavow Christ Jesus and God all together.
