Faith without religion.
The Transformative Power of Spiritual Rebirth and Praise
In our recent live call-in show, we delved into the intriguing topic of understanding the “Right Jesus.” This discussion was sparked by emails from well-meaning believers questioning the portrayal of Jesus by different faiths, particularly the LDS Church. While some may argue about the differences, it’s essential to recognize that Jesus is being taught, albeit in varied forms. As Paul noted in Philippians 1:18, regardless of the manner, Christ is preached, and for that, we rejoice.
The core of our ministry is not to debate the nuances of Jesus’ portrayal but to focus on the transformative power of being spiritually reborn through Him. This rebirth is a personal and undeniable experience that transcends intellectual debates. It’s about a genuine relationship with the Lord that changes lives.
We also introduced a book, “Born-Again Mormon: Moving Toward Christian Authenticity,” which explores this very journey. As we continued, we emphasized the natural outcome of being born-again: praise. Praising the Lord for His mercies should be a daily practice, as highlighted in scriptures like Hebrews 13:15 and Psalms 50:23.
Before opening the phone lines, we shared a song of praise, encouraging everyone to incorporate such moments into their daily lives. As we concluded, we challenged our listeners to offer their hearts to the Lord in sincere prayer. Remember, the journey with Jesus is personal, and through praise and prayer, we draw closer to Him. God bless you all.
