Embracing Agape Love: A Path to Unity and Spiritual Growth
The Christian Peace Initiative Conference is set to take place on November 8 and 9 in Salt Lake City. The event will kick off with a Zoom session on Friday night featuring keynote speaker Pastor Larry Norris Senior from Arizona. Attendees will reconvene on Saturday morning for presentations and a panel discussion after lunch. While the conference is free, including lunch, organizers request RSVPs to plan for refreshments and seating.
For those unable to attend in person, the conference will be available via Zoom and will be recorded for later viewing. Participants are encouraged to download The Great News Network app, which provides access to all conference materials and is available for free on both Apple and Google stores.
In addition to the conference, the Thursday call-in show continues to engage listeners, inviting them to share questions and comments. The show emphasizes the importance of honesty and love in discussions, fostering a community that grows together through shared experiences.
A key theme of the conference is the concept of Agape love, defined as selfless, sacrificial, and insufferable. This love prioritizes the needs of others over personal desires, aiming to support spiritual growth. It requires individuals to sacrifice their own agendas for the betterment of others, often leading to personal discomfort. Agape love is characterized by mercy, patience, kindness, and humility, even in challenging situations.
The conference will also explore the relationship between humanity and YAHAVAH, emphasizing that all people are invited to seek a connection with God through the finished work of His Son, Yeshua. This includes understanding the significance of faith and the diverse ways individuals express their spirituality, regardless of their religious background.
The event aims to foster a deeper understanding of love, faith, and the inclusive nature of God’s invitation to all humanity. Participants will leave with insights into how to embody Agape love in their lives and communities.
