Faith without religion.
Faiths and Dialogue in Salt Lake City
In the heart of Salt Lake City, where Mormonism meets Biblical Christianity, Heart of the Matter continues to bridge the gap between these two faiths. Hosted by Shawn McCraney, the show offers a platform for open dialogue and exploration of faith. For those unable to catch the show on television, streaming is available worldwide at www.hotm.tv.
This week, we invite you to join us for the fourth annual Burning Heart 09, The Big Tent Revival, on Saturday, September 5th, from 5 to 8 pm at Sugarhouse Park. It’s an evening of fellowship, worship, and an opportunity to embrace the teachings of Jesus. The event will feature music by Jeremiah’s Fire, testimonies, and a special appearance by Adam’s Road. We will also offer an open water baptism for those wishing to publicly profess their faith.
In addition to our events, we are excited to announce a new program for teens, The Grey Generation, airing Saturday nights at 10:30 pm starting October 3rd. This show aims to provide sound guidance amidst the challenges of today’s world.
At Alathea Ministries, we emphasize love and acceptance, even amidst doctrinal differences. Our mission is to love unconditionally, following the example of Jesus, who taught us to respond to the world with compassion rather than conflict. We remain committed to honest dialogue and will continue to critique any group that misrepresents their faith to appear Christian.
We receive numerous emails from individuals, particularly in Utah, who are leaving Mormonism after discovering Jesus. These stories remind us of the transformative power of faith. We encourage open discussions and invite everyone to explore these spiritual journeys with us.
Join us this Saturday at Sugarhouse Park for an evening of community and faith. All are welcome.
