Faith without religion.
Embracing True Freedom in Faith
In a recent broadcast, we explored the concept of true Christianity and the importance of liberty in faith. The central message was clear: “There is no partial Christianity.” Jesus’ victory means that we are saved by faith in Him, and this faith should be liberating, not binding. If your church imposes demands, guilt, or financial obligations, it may be time to seek a community where the Spirit of Christ reigns freely.
We discussed the dangers of religious rhetoric, practices, and demands that can stifle the spirit of liberty. The more these elements are present in a church, the less freedom and truth believers experience. As one quote from the show emphasized, “The MORE of these present in your walk, the LESS spirit, truth, and liberty you have in Him.”
We also highlighted the need for true worshippers to engage with God “in spirit and in truth,” as stated in John 4:23-24. This duality is essential for genuine worship, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). The discussion encouraged listeners to evaluate their spiritual environments critically and to seek out places that foster true freedom in Christ.
Ultimately, the goal is to liberate individuals from religious bondage and empower them to pursue their faith subjectively, without the constraints of dogma or authority figures. As we continue this journey, we invite everyone to join us in discovering the best approach to Christianity, one that prioritizes love, liberty, and a personal relationship with God.
