The Two Ages: Romans 8:1 Part 2 Bible Teaching

In a recent teaching, we examined Romans 8:1, where Paul asserts that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus who walk after the Spirit. This profound message highlights freedom from condemnation for believers, linked to being in Christ and living by the Spirit. We discussed the historical context, noting two judgments of that era: the physical destruction of Jerusalem and the Great White Throne judgment. These events signified a shift from a material to a spiritual kingdom. The Greek term “katakrino” implies an adverse verdict, but this teaching suggests that all scriptural prophecies are fulfilled, and we now exist in a spiritually based kingdom without future wrathful condemnation. God’s governance is characterized by reconciliation and unconditional love, encouraging a life led by the Spirit, free from traditional religious constraints.
