In our recent teaching, we explored the concept of “Church deconstructed,” focusing on a subjective approach to religion that allows personal interpretation and application of teachings. We examined John chapter 12, where Jesus discusses His impending glorification and His role as the mediator between God and humanity, supported by passages from 1st Timothy describing Jesus as “God manifest in the flesh.” A key focus was on John 12:25, where “life” refers to the soul—our mind, will, and emotions. The teaching emphasized that prioritizing personal desires leads to loss, while aligning with God’s will leads to eternal life. This perspective challenges believers to choose God’s will over their own, leading to abundant living and eternal rewards.
