In a recent teaching, we explored the genealogical line from Adam to Jacob, spanning 2168 years, and examined the recurring biblical theme of “exiting and entering.” This theme illustrates the journey from the familiar to the unknown, calling believers to leave behind certainties and enter a life of faith in God. Stories of figures like Abraham, Joseph, and Moses reflect this motif of transformation and trust. Stephen’s recounting of Joseph’s story in Acts 7 highlights how God used Joseph’s forced exit to preserve Israel, serving as a type of Christ’s mission. Believers are called to embrace this journey, preparing for a life in God’s presence.
