In a recent teaching on 1st Corinthians 2:1-5, we explored the Apostle Paul’s method of sharing the Gospel, which emphasized reliance on the power of God rather than eloquent speech or worldly wisdom. Paul approached the Corinthians in weakness and fear, focusing solely on Jesus Christ and Him crucified. This highlights the truth that God often uses the weak to confound the mighty, deliberately choosing to humble the proud. Paul avoided the rhetorical styles admired by the Greeks, recognizing that true wisdom comes from God. The teaching stresses the importance of a direct relationship with God, encouraging believers to rely on His strength and wisdom, and to share the Gospel with humility and sincerity.
